Description:	Dragony (Austria) - Legends The debut album ! Release Date: 22 June 2012 Though until recently unsigned, Dragony have already come to fame in their home country Austria. Founded in 2007 by the guitarists Andreas Poppernitsch and Daniel Stockinger, as well as singer Siegfried "The Dragonslayer" Samer, the band has already achieved an exellent reputation by playing several opening shows for international acts as Axxis, Firewind, Paul Di' Anno, Serenity, Edenbrigde or Sonata Arctica, just to name a few. Originally the six musicians, who were calling their band "The Dragonslayer Project" until early 2011, had planned to write a rock opera. But in favor of a real debut album this plan was put aside for a start. The now available debut album "Legends" is the result of extensive planning and arranging and features not only 10 first-class Symphonic Power Metal songs, but also a number of well-known musical guests, such as Tom Tieber from Ecliptica, Kati Joanne and Phil Porter (both Siren's Cry) and Ralf Scheepers of Primal Fear who sang the lead vocals on the song "Burning Skies". Fans of bands like Edguy, Kamelot, Sabaton or Stratovarius will certainly love "Legends" by Dragony. The hunt for the dragon has begun!
